A graduate of law studies at the University of Gdańsk (2018), since October 2018 employed as an assistant at the Department of Civil Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk. Since 2019, she has been an assistant at the Private International Law Division established within this Department. She completed her notarial apprenticeship, passing the notarial exam in 2022, and obtained the status of notary deputy in the Notarial Chamber in Gdańsk. She is a recipient of the scientific scholarship awarded by the Minister of Science and Higher Education for students with outstanding academic achievements. In 2018, she was nominated by the Rector of the University of Gdańsk in the Red Rose Competition for the title of Best Student in Pomerania.
Mgr Kinga Konieczna completed the International Business and Trade Summer Law Program, organized by the Jagiellonian University in cooperation with The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law (2018), the Summer School of European Private Law in Salzburg (2019), and the Private International Law course organized by the Hague Academy of International Law (2021, online edition). In 2023, she completed a one-month research stay at the Institute for European Tort Law in Vienna. She is a member of the Polish Association of European Law.
Her research interests focus on the law of obligations (particularly tort law), comparative private law, and private international law. She is the author of over a dozen publications in the field of civil law and private international law, and a co-author of the educational work entitled Prawo cywilne - kazusy, orzecznictwo, materiały (eds. E. Bagińska, Paulina Wyszyńska-Ślufińska), which was awarded the First-Degree Team Award by the Rector of the University of Gdańsk in 2023. She has presented at several academic conferences, including the 5th National Congress of Departments of Private International Law (Kraków, 2021), where she delivered a paper on the applicable law for contracts for digital services. She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation in the field of liability law
